A wickedly cool pair of vintage earrings, likely dating back to the 1980s, that are chunky and absolutely loaded with thick baguette diamonds. The pair weighs 13.3 grams, or 6.65 grams each, so these are fairly heavy on the ears; however, the posts and omega backs combo do make these more secure and wearable! Each earring measures 17 x 6.5 mm, and the pair together have an estimated diamond weight of 2.52 carats. The huge baguette cuts are G-H color and VS clarity.
Each earring features two sapphire cabochons on each side- two low profile cabs that are meant to face the neck when worn, and two sugarloaf sapphires that are meant to face outwards. The deep blue sapphires are a perfect compliment to the bright white diamonds and warm yellow gold, and add an excellent pop of color.
