The diamonds are bright, lively, and exceptionally well matched, creating beautiful contrast against the rich buttery 18k gold mounting. The star motif was one of the most beloved designs of the Victorian era and remains just as striking today.
Circa 1890. Measures 29 x 29 mm. Crafted in 18k gold and set with approximately 2.50 carats of old mine cut and old European cut diamonds, approximately G–H color and VS clarity. The integrated pin closure protects the sharp end of the pin, allowing the piece to be worn comfortably as a brooch, pendant, or even as an extender. A bail can be added at the client’s request for pendant wear.
