A gorgeous Victorian flower spray brooch with so much movement and detail in the antique floral design. Crafted in gold and silver, the design twists through layered leaves, curled stems and flower petals, all set with chunky old mine cut diamonds and pops of rich green emerald. The blackened silver gives the stones so much contrast, while the dimensional construction keeps the whole piece feeling sculptural rather than flat. Even the back is incredible, showing the hand-built framework and original brooch fittings.
The brooch weighs 19.4 grams and measures approx. 46 x 40 mm. Set with approx. 2.50 carats of old mine cut diamonds, with the largest diamond approx. 0.60 carat, plus approx. 0.65 carat total weight of emeralds. Gold and silver construction with original brooch fittings. Victorian period
