A fabulous Victorian diamond starburst featuring an incredible arrangement of chunky old cut diamonds in a dramatic, elongated design. At the center sits a gorgeous approximately 0.70 carat old cut diamond, surrounded by a circular cluster with pointed rays extending outward, each tightly set with graduated stones. The longer bottom ray gives this piece such a fantastic shape, while the intricate silver topped gold construction showcases the incredible craftsmanship of the Victorian era. The diamonds have wonderful broad flashes of light, with approximately 3.50 carats total weight bringing plenty of sparkle to this striking antique jewel. Complete with its original brooch and pendant fittings, allowing it to be worn either way.
Crafted in 15k gold and silver, weighing 7.6 grams. Measures 40 x 27 x 13 mm. Diamonds graded G–I / VS–SI.
