A beautiful Victorian fly bar brooch in 18k gold and silver, completely original with a great old-school build and a seriously nice old cut diamond at the center. The fly is set with approx. 1.65 carats of old cut diamonds, including the large center stone at approx. 1.40 carats, grading approx. G–H / VS–SI. Two cabochon ruby eyes give the fly that perfect little hit of color against the antique diamonds and warm gold.
The brooch weighs 10.0 grams. The fly measures approx. 34 × 25 mm, with an overall bar length of 54 mm. Finished with its original C-clasp brooch fitting. A really strong Victorian jewel with great scale, chunky old diamond presence and all the details still intact.
