This incredible carnelian brooch dates back to the late Georgian/early Victorian era. The carnelian stone used as the base for the brooch is a perfect glowing orange with gorgeous stations weaving through it. The backing, pin, and setting for the woven hair details are made of gold. This piece contains both blonde and brunette hair woven together, and is encased in glass. This piece weighs 5.7 grams and measures 28.76 x 23.21 mm.
