Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this Edwardian Toi et Moi ring has such an unusual, sharply geometric face for the period. An approx. 1.20 carat deep blue triangular sapphire meets an approx. 1 carat old flat-cut triangular diamond point to point, creating that strong diamond-shaped profile. The angles are incredible, especially against the tiny rose cut diamonds tightly set around the entire border. There is something so cool about seeing these rare early triangular cuts together, long before precision cutting made this shape more common.
Dating to the Edwardian period, the ring still carries all the delicacy of the era, but the geometry gives it a much stronger edge.
