Edwardian Diamond Heart Brooch Pendant Locket

An absolutely incredible Edwardian diamond heart with more shine than any heart we have had. Crafted in platinum and 18k gold and completely covered in approx. 15 carats of transitional cut diamonds, tightly set across the entire face with an additional row of diamonds running up the bail. The spread and brilliance are insane, giving this heart major presence and serious sparkle from every angle. The glass back opens as a pressure locket with an amazing original mechanism inside, and the original brooch attachment is included so it can be worn as either a pendant or brooch. A huge statement jewel with incredible craftsmanship and function built into the design. Measures approx. 46 mm x 42 mm excluding the bail and weighs 23.7 grams. Circa Edwardian era.
