Art Deco pink sapphire and diamond ring in platinum, centered by an incredible 2.499 carat Burmese pink sapphire with no heat and SSEF certification. The color is rich and saturated.
The design is beautifully symmetrical, with three baguette cut diamonds framing each side of the sapphire and old cut diamonds running north to south through the curved channels above and below. I love the contrast between the clean lines of the baguettes and the softer shape of the old cuts. It gives the ring that classic Deco balance of geometry, movement, and proportion, while keeping the pink sapphire completely center stage.
Platinum, 6.1 grams, with approximately 1.20 carats total of diamonds. The face measures approximately 21 x 16 mm with a 2 mm band. Sizable 6.5.
