The contrast of black onyx against platinum has always been one of my favorite combinations. Add the clean simplicity of a round locket centered by an old European cut diamond, and you have a piece that is timeless, beautiful, and incredibly versatile.
The platinum locket measures 28 mm and is centered by an approximately 0.15 carat old European cut diamond measuring 3.5 mm. Suspended from a 15.25 inch onyx bead and platinum bar link chain, it weighs 15.3 grams. The alternating polished onyx beads and platinum bars complement the locket beautifully, giving the necklace wonderful balance and proportions with the unmistakable look of the Art Deco period.
