This is the kind of Art Deco ring that stops even seasoned jewelry people in their tracks. Crafted in platinum, the top measures an impressive 21.6 x 18.2 mm and sits remarkably low across the finger despite the amount of diamond weight packed into it. Set with an approximate 8.28 carats total, with six chunky old mine and old European cut diamonds including two approximately 1.50 carat stones and four approximately 1.00 carat stones, surrounded by sixteen tapered baguette diamonds totaling approximately 1.28 carats. The old cuts are everything you want them to be: broad flashes, bold faceting, and that unmistakable antique personality that modern cuts simply cannot replicate.

What gets me is the craftsmanship. The way those tapered baguettes wrap the perimeter and flow with the curved shape of the plaque is wild. The ring has incredible finger coverage without feeling bulky, and the low profile makes it surprisingly wearable for its scale. Flip it to the side and the openwork gallery and hand-finished details remind you exactly why Art Deco platinum work remains some of the finest jewelry ever made.

Platinum. 7.6 grams. Approximately G–H color, VVS–SI clarity. Top measures 21.6 x 18.2 mm. Currently a size 8 and sizable.
