A signature of French high jewelry history. This circa 1880 gemset clover-curb bracelet is a signed creation by Mellerio dits Meller, the oldest continuously operating jewelry house in the world and a name associated with Parisian refinement and royal patronage. Crafted from a combination of 18k gold and silver, weighing 23.2 grams, it reflects the house’s approach to structure, symbolism, and color.
At its center is a clover-form cluster measuring approximately 22 × 22 mm, set with three unheated sapphires in green, pink, and blue, each approximately 0.50 carat. The use of natural color variation is intentional. The curb chain measures 7.2 inches in length with a 7 mm thickness.
