A truly charming 14k gold antique locket with the front all done in baby blue enamel. Over top of the blue enamel, there is a lifelike rendition of leaves and flowers, behind an intricately detailed bird in flight. The large 19.5 mm bail also has the same baby blue enamel, as well as a flower to tie it into the locket. The flowers appear to be a variation of bleeding hearts, and the bird is most likely a scissor-tailed hummingbird, due to the split of its tail.
The entire locket weighs 19.5 grams, and measures 27.5 x 56 mm, including the bail. The locket is 6 mm thick, and scattered throughout the design are 16 single-cut diamonds to add extra sparkle and dimension to the incredible art piece.
Please note there is a slight yellow/green discoloration of the blue enamel on the body of the locket; this is likely due to age and may not be able to be removed. This is reflected in the price.
