Crafted in platinum and 18k gold, this antique snake brooch has a strong sweeping design, with the body curling back through itself and the serpent’s head coming across the center. The principal rose cut diamond is approx. 2.00 carats with a 9 mm spread, H / SI, giving the brooch incredible coverage. An old European cut diamond of approx. 0.18 carat is set into the serpent’s head, with an additional approx. 0.68 carats total of smaller rose cut diamonds running throughout the body.
The mix of rose cuts and the larger principal stone gives the piece great presence and sparkle across the entire form. It weighs 9.3 grams and measures approx. 46 x 20 mm. A very cool antique snake jewel with a graphic shape and lots of diamond presence
