Heavy platinum, exceptional French craftsmanship, and a design that feels just as modern today as it did in the 1940s. Approximately 3.50 carats of richly colored Colombian emeralds are channel set across the top, interlocking with a graduating row of approximately 2.50 carats of baguette cut diamonds. Transitional cut diamonds taper down one shoulder, adding a softer contrast to the crisp geometry of the baguettes. The stepped construction and overlapping channels give the ring incredible depth and make it instantly recognizable from every angle.
Founded in Paris in 1827, Maboussin established itself as one of France's premier jewelry houses, earning a reputation for exceptional gemstones, innovative design, and impeccable craftsmanship. Their finest pieces are bold without feeling excessive, relying on clean architectural lines and flawless execution rather than ornament. This ring is a beautiful example of that philosophy and exactly the kind of vintage French design that continues to stand apart.
