This pendant is a masterpiece of preservation; the body of a real butterfly has been pressed onto a larger butterfly wing, all inlaid in 14k gold with the wing visible from both sides. The larger wing is iridescent, transitioning from deep brown to green. She measures approx 2” in length, not including the bail, and is about 7 mm thick.
