Victorian Emerald, Ruby, Hairwork and Gold Mourning Bracelet

The woven hair on this bangle is in great condition and fully intact. Attached nicely to the gold with a bonding agent. Adorned with a very old rectangular cut ruby that measures 3.4 x 2.1 mm and two square cut emeralds that measure 2.5 x 2.2 mm. The gemstones are very old cuts and therefore the carat weights are difficult to approximate. I estimate the ruby to weight .10 carats and the emerald’s to have an estimated weight of .08 carats . The gemstones are of a lovely high quality color. Both emeralds have small naturals on the top side facets that are visible to a trained eye under magnification. The interior of the bangle measures 6 inches, the safety chain measures 4 inches. The clasp and hinge are in wearable condition.
