She was chosen to be one of three black students to integrate West Virginia’s graduate schools. Katherine loved her work with NASA, exceeded all because her incredible intelligence and contributions to space exploration. Please read more about this incredible woman. The east to west sapphire weighs 2.30 carats set in a formed ring with tapering to V edge sides and a rough rough matte finish. This beautiful handmade ring is stamped “18K” and is ready for everyday wear and love.
