Impressive early 1800’s ruby and pearl stomacher pendant. The closed back rubies are all original to the pendant with original pearls and two replacement blended pearls. This item is very rare as an authentic antique, often imitated but never duplicated. It’s incredibly hand crafted in silver with bright floral patterns that are known for the Iberian peninsula region and the pre – early Georgian time period. It’s very rare to find this item with rubies as opposed to garnets, diamonds or emeralds, which are most commonly seen. We’ve added oval rings to the back that make this beauty wearable as a pendant on a regular chain or a watch chain with end clips. This antique pendant is in good commotion for it’s age and cannot be exposed or immersed in liquid without causing damage.
