Georgian Mourning Brooch Engraved for Ann Dashwood


An excellent and all original historical work of jewelry art. This mourning miniature was made for a Mrs. Ann Dashwood. The paintings is surrounded by blue guillouche enamel with a beaded edge surrounding. This navette shape and style is known for it’s popularity in the 1780’s. The back is so beautifully engraved, “Ann Dashwood ob 6 March 1782 Aet 29“.

Please send your returns with insurance and tracking, preferably registered, as we cannot be responsible for items that are lost or uninsured in transit.  Customs forms must be labelled as “merchandise returns” and we reserve the right to deduct any customs duties incurred for returns from refunds or store credits.
