Georgian Era Table Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

The center collet bezel set diamond measures 5.8x 4.5mm and is surrounded by ten gorgeous table cut diamonds. All are closed and foil backed. The foiling does show signs of age and the center diamond has a small nick on the side facet. This rare and exceptional ring is in all around very good condition for it age and dates to the 1750s!! The tapered V shank is original, with no signs of restoration, sizing or repair, and it blends seamlessly into the back petal design on the underside of the silver top section. The top silver and diamond cluster section measures 14.3 x 14.7 mm and the band graduates from 3.3 mm to 1.8 mm.
