Georgian Period Urn Mourning Ring 1781

A beautiful and cherished mourning ring modeled in 18 karat yellow gold and black enamel. Around the shank says, “George Wescott ob 9 June 1781 ae 68“. The center oval miniature sepia painting has some fading with age and is held behind a glass crystal. The center urn has lovely details, a crest or ribbon above and the letters “G and W” to it’s sides. This item has has the kiss of time, but is in nice antique wearable condition.
